Severe Acne
Severe acne is typically associated with cysts and nodules. The most important thing you can do for this is to see a physician and make sure the treatment recommended is followed to the letter. Cleanliness and topical treatments are important, as are the oral medications now available to treat very severe acne.

For Severe Acne, there are also several topical and oral medications. These are only available by prescription and following an evaluation, Dr Lopo would be happy to prescribe a medication, if appropriate. Some of the medications, such as tretinoin-based products, are available in the office.
